The Cutting Edge is a software package that runs on either Windows or Mac. It allows public relations professionals to measure the impact on their organisation of coverage in the press or broadcast media. It was developed in conjunction with the Henshall Centre, one of the UK's leading trainers of PR Professionals.

The package has nine different units of evaluation to choose from, including equivalent ad value, circulation and readership. You weight those units to reflect the helpfulness of the content and the relevance of the publication to your employing organisation (employer or client). You can recalculate from one unit to another at the click of a button.

Our own unit of choice for evaluating editorial coverage is equivalent rate card (ad value). You may have another. With The Cutting Edge you have a choice.

Cutting Edge Software comes in four different editions: lite, Full, Network and Server.

Lite Edition is the ideal starter package. Lite offers sound evaluation of your media coverage but without the in-depth analysis of the Full Edition.

Full Edition provides full media evaluation sophistication. All the features of Cutting Edge Lite plus many more analyses & other power features.

Network Edition allows upto 10 users to share the power of the Full Edition using peer-to-peer networking.

Server Edition is a robust high performance server that allows upto 250 users to simultaneously access the Full Edition.
